We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Deputy Investment Manager to lead the identification, evaluation, execution, and monitoring of new investment opportunities that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring, with demonstrated experience in greenfield investments, M&A, or strategic partnerships.
1. Investment Strategy & Origination
Identify and assess new investment opportunities aligned with the company’s Investment Direction (e.g. new markets, new sectors, JVs, acquisitions).
Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking to build business case and investment proposal.
Develop investment pipelines and maintain relationships with key partners, advisors, and financial institutions.
2. Evaluation & Analysis
Lead commercial and financial analysis of potential investments, including business case modeling, scenario analysis, and valuation (DCF, IRR, NPV, comparables).
Work with internal teams (finance, legal, technical) and external consultants to conduct comprehensive due diligence.
3. Deal Execution
Support or lead deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation (term sheets, SPAs, JVAs, shareholder agreements).
Coordinate with legal, tax, and finance teams to ensure compliance and risk management during the investment process.
4. Portfolio Management
Monitor performance of existing investments, including financial reporting, governance, and strategic support to portfolio companies or projects.
Support investees in operational matters
5. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
Prepare investment proposal/reports/updates and present recommendations to the Board and Shareholders
Manage communication and reporting to internal leadership and external stakeholders (banks, partners, regulators).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
5–10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate M&A, private equity, or corporate development.
Strong knowledge of investment evaluation, financial modeling, and valuation methodologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with end-to-end deal lifecycle: from origination to execution and post-investment monitoring.
Management experience is a plus
